Equine Body Language Workshop

Learning how to understand and communicate with our horses is pivotal to the horse and human relationship. It could be argued that many of the accidents we see involving our horses could have been avoided had the human known how to identify the subtle signs their horse was giving.

This workshop focuses on the culture that all our equines share. Learn how to read the subtle and no-so-subtle signs that pony is giving us. Read when pony finds their "release" in-hand and at work. See how pony communicates in a social setting and how to know when pony is expressing true discomfort, an opinion, concern, and cautious effort and how to promote the positive behaviors without the need for treats.

Horses will be used as part of this demonstration in both a formal training and informal setting. Guests will be offered the opportunity to try some new body language techniques…
