Deciding to get your first horse is the easy part. Trying to navigate the market can be tricky. As with any industry, there is plenty of red flags and scams out there that are enough to ruin the 1st-time horse buyer. This workshop discussion provides a hands-on look at real ads, phrases, and demonstration of the good, bad, and the ugly aspects to horse buying. The best defense is a good offence and knowledge is power. Knowing what to avoid can help you protect yourself from a bad investment.
Included in this workshop are physical examples of good and questionable ads, interactive sales ad "game", and physical demo allowing guests to interact as both a seller and a buyer with the help of a few W.A Lesson Horses.
