Mini Horse Camp

Saturday Camp is open to campers ages 7+ years. No riding experience required. Campers are to come to camp with the following:

• Signed riding release form(avalible upon drop off OR via email with registration confirmation)
• Packed lunch
• dressed prepared to ride in long pants and closed-toed shoes(boot preferably)
• *optional change of clothes/shoes for after horse activities
• Water bottle

Camp agenda is as follows:

9a Drop off

9:15-12(12:30p) Horseback riding

-including pre/post ride grooming, ground training, mounted training, & post-ride chores

(more advanced groups MAY be offered mounted roping with horses and the cow-drag)

12:00(12:30)-1p Lunch & Wagon Ride through the Farm

1-2p Goat Roping

-including intro to roping without goats, roping live goats, and post-roping feeding goats

(more advanced groups MAY be offered live goat roping without the "intro" to roping segment)

Please note:

Registration is $100(+4% card fee) per camper. In the event of unsafe weather conditions, parents/guardians will be notified and offered a "credit forward" to another camp date OR fees may be offered to transfer into a private class fee. All fees are NON-refundable. Fees paid in the 2024 calendar year are non-transferable to the 2025 calendar year. All credits on file are to be scheduled prior to Dec. 21, 2024.  Before/after-care hours are TBD and vary between dates. Please contact walkeracresridingacademy@gmail.com to inquire.
