About the event
There are 100s of breeds and varying sizes of horses in the world. They're generally categorized into 5 groups. Of those groups, it could be argued that about 10% of the "horse life" is ridden work. The remaining 80% is moving pony from pasture to stall, stall to pasture, pasture to trailer, trailer to in-date, back to the trailer, stall to new stall, on & on.
SHOWMANSHIP is the discipline for the sum of all that non-ridden interaction horse and human share in daily life. This workshop dials it down to 4 specific postures that help pony react appropriately while in-hand
. Included in this workshop is a demonstration of these ques, how to begin training them, and optional hands-on interactive with a W.A Lesson Horse.
