About the event
W.A proudly offers a HORSE SHOW classroom experience for the students that are interested in a "practice" workshop on how to compete.
To qualify to compete, students must be confident riders that navigate the 1st & 2nd gaits at minimum and can perform reverses safely in a group setting.
Like any official event, there will be a show office with entry forms and class sheets. Students and guardians will be shown how to navigate the registration process, time manage, and practice good show etiquette in preparation for a real horse show.
Horse/rider pairings will follow the I.E.A show style of drawing for horses. Students will be expected to demonstrate their skills at both the ranch discipline and sportsmanship that they have worked on in their usual classes. Youth and Adult students are invited to participate. Adults will ride against other adults only. Youths will ride in youth classes only.
