The Nigerian Dwarf Goat
The Nigerian Dwarf breed is rooted in Africa (West African Dwarf). Unlike their stumpy Pygmy cousins, Nigerian Dwarfs exemplify finer features. As a dual-purpose breed, the Nigerian Dwarf is desirable not only for it's market productivity but also for it's friendly disposition and plain cuteness! Does can easily mother between 3 & 4 kids as often as 4 times a calendar year. Adults range from about 17" to 20" tall at the wither(shoulder) and can weigh around 70-75 lbs.
